(The AGS Intractability Appraiser AGS-IA™).
The
AGS-IA™ is based on a seven years long research conducted at the
Technion -- Israel Institute of Technology by Dr. Gideon Samid,
co-founder. The underlying idea is that every security system is
breakable, the only question is how difficult (intractable) is it to
accomplish that break-in.
It turns out that most security vendors offer a standard (or mildly tailored) defense. That defense is what they are comfortable, efficient, and stocked with. They would argue that your threats are those that their defense is helpful against.
Unfortunately we have found that these expensive and elaborate security fences are too often only good as long as no one tries to climb them. Because it does not matter how high and thick your wall is on one side, if the other side has a crack in it. And hence you cannot measure your security by your security budget, nor by the gravitas of the security provider. The only way to appraise your security is first to identify your most likely attack scenario, and then appraise its intractability. Only when the intractability of your most likely threat is quantified is it possible to push it further (render that attack scenario even more intractable).
The company is further equipped with a series of innovations and proprietary tools that greatly contribute to its unique status in the security business. Our flagship IP is Daniel™ -- a fundamentally different encryption algorithm: fast, multi-layered, and threat-adaptable through variable key size, which can grow to offer the ultimate security, till now available only from Vernam's One-Time-Pad cipher. Daniel operates on minute power supply which renders it extremely applicable to RFID, and smart cards.
The Samid brothers are both veteran engineers,
graduates of the Technion -- Israel Institute of Technology. Amnon,
our CEO, a noted engineer, is an experienced and successful technology
manager, with impressive project accomplishments. Amnon is
director with
ICD, our link company in China, providing security services to most of
the Fortune 500. Gideon, our CTO, is an engineering professor at Case
Western University, a reputable inventor, author, a security expert,
specializes in R&D practice and management. Both brothers served as
professional officers in the Israeli Defense Forces. Over the years
the company attracted seasoned and dedicated professionals extending
AGS services to the US, Europe, and the Far East.
